- 9am to 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Domestic abuse
If you are in immediate danger you must call 999.
If you need to leave your home because of domestic abuse, you should first contact RISE who are a specialist violence against women, domestic abuse, and sexual violence organisation. They offer safety advice, guidance, and refuge for women experiencing or at risk from domestic abuse.

You can also call the All Wales Helpline on 0808 801 0800.
Depending on your circumstances, RISE may refer you to the Housing Advice Service. We can offer support, such as:
- advice on your tenancy rights,
- discussing security measures, and
- possibly offering emergency short-term accommodation and more permanent housing solutions.
We will treat all reports of domestic abuse in a sensitive and confidential manner.
Any information about you and your location will be kept strictly confidential.
Support for men experiencing domestic abuse
There is help available for men who are experiencing domestic abuse from a partner. The Dyn Project provides confidential support to men and will help find local services in their area.

Sofa surfing
If you are sofa surfing with family or friends, please contact us. We can give you advice and help you to find longer term accommodation.
We may be able to support you into suitable private rented accommodation.

Rough sleeping
We are committed to making sure that no one sleeping rough must spend a second night on the streets.
If you have nowhere to stay tonight, you can call the Targeted Outreach Team. They operate every day from 7am to 9pm.

Getting support when you are in accommodation
If you get accommodation and need more support, we can provide a variety of services, including:
- substance misuse support,
- mental health support,
- nurse,
- counselling,
- homeless advocates who can help with legal issues, and
- peer mentors. These are people who have been through a similar experience and can provide help and support.
Our partners
Whilst providing inhouse services, we also collaborate with several partners who help people at risk of homelessness or currently experiencing rough sleeping.
Solutions Service
The Solutions Service supports rough sleepers who are aged 18 and over in Cardiff. They can help with:
- housing,
- welfare benefits, and
- access to health care.
They can be contacted from Monday to Friday, 9am and 5pm.

Reconnect Service
The Reconnect Service aims to reduce people travelling between areas to rough sleep and avoid perpetuating street homelessness.

Street Pastors
Street pastors are on the streets of Cardiff every day engaging with people who are rough sleeping or who are at risk of homelessness. They work throughout the city and can help with:
- finding suitable accommodation,
- accessing hostels and clothing, and
- offer advice on health, benefits, and housing.
Street pastors can also accompany clients to appointments and interviews if needed.
The street pastors work every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm to 4am in the city centre.
